HURRICANE MADNESS!

Just a couple of quick things to talk about for those who have subscribed and those passing through.

Hurricane Madness:

We have been dealing with the passage and disruption of two major hurricanes back to back. Luckily we are dealing with minimal damage but it has completely thrown us off schedule over the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately for sooo many people, the hurricanes were a devastating, life-changing event. Watching the videos of Helene’s devastation and aftermath in North Carolina has been unsettling to say the least.

Watching the now emerging videos of the west coast of Florida are nauseating. Very upsetting. The depth of the devastation and power of the storm surge is completely unbelievable. Not only to the west coast but also the east coast as Hurricane Milton made it’s way across the peninsula a week after Helene. Parts of the barrier islands and coast are forever changed.  Milton also spawned over twenty tornados as it made it’s way across Central Florida. The damage and devastation was a statewide affair, not centralized to a certain area. That is something new and is very unnerving. Is anywhere safe from climate change? Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected.

We will be focusing on catching up quickly over the next week or so as we get re-organized, so thank you for your patience as we get back to posting and reviewing on a regular basis again.

On a happier note:

We surpassed 500 visitors day before yesterday.

Another milestone moment for us here at Streaming Movie Night.
