The Complete James Bond Franchise Arrives on Prime Video October 1, 2025

Starting October 1, 2025, Prime Video will stream all 25 official James Bond films from EON Productions, offering fans an unmatched chance to experience the full cinematic legacy of 007 in one place. From Sean Connery’s suave, groundbreaking debut to Daniel Craig’s intense and complex portrayal, the collection spans over six decades of espionage, thrilling action, iconic villains, and globe-trotting adventure. Featuring celebrated performances from Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and others, this blockbuster library marks a must-see event for longtime fans and new viewers alike. The complete Bond saga blends sophistication, humor, high-tech gadgets, and pulse-pounding excitement, now easily accessible on Prime Video.

Ian Lancaster Fleming (1908–1964), a British intelligence officer turned author, created the iconic James Bond spy series that inspired the celebrated film franchise. His twelve novels and two short story collections introduced readers to the suave MI6 agent 007, blending espionage, adventure, and sophisticated style. The James Bond movies are based on Fleming’s literary works, though filmmakers often took creative liberties, altering plots, characters, and settings to adapt his stories for the screen and keep the franchise fresh over decades. While some films such as “Dr. No,” “From Russia with Love,” and “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” stay relatively faithful to Fleming’s narratives, others diverge significantly, introducing new storylines and villains. Despite these adaptations, Fleming’s books remain the blueprint for much of the cinematic Bond universe, providing the rich foundation from which the enduring spy saga grew

Fifty Shades Of Grey Movies Coming To Netflix!

Netflix is adding the entire Fifty Shades trilogy to its catalog starting October 1, 2025. This streaming event allows fans new and old to experience the full journey of Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey’s (Jamie Dornan) intense and complex romance. From the first meeting to their ultimate challenges as a couple, the trilogy remains a cultural touchstone for erotic romance cinema, and its Netflix arrival makes it easily accessible for binge viewing or revisiting the provocative, emotional saga.

The Fifty Shades trilogy of erotic romance novels was written by British author E. L. James, the pen name of Erika Mitchell. The trilogy includes Fifty Shades of Grey (2011), Fifty Shades Darker (2012), and Fifty Shades Freed (2012). The books trace the evolving relationship between college graduate Anastasia Steele and wealthy entrepreneur Christian Grey, exploring themes of BDSM alongside romance and emotional connection. E. L. James started writing the series as a response to the Twilight saga and initially published it as fan fiction before developing it into an original series. The books became a major global phenomenon, selling over 150 million copies worldwide and setting a record as the fastest selling paperback in the UK. Despite criticism over prose style and depiction of BDSM, the series topped bestseller lists and led to a successful film franchise. James described the trilogy as “my midlife crisis, writ large.” Besides the original trilogy, James also published companion novels retelling the story from Christian Grey’s perspective.

Fifty Shades of Grey (2015)

College graduate Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) interviews wealthy billionaire Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and is drawn into his intense, secretive world of S&M and dominance. As Christian introduces Ana to his particular brand of erotic desires, the two explore a complex and steamy relationship that challenges Ana’s boundaries and emotions while revealing Christian’s troubled past. Their evolving romance is as much about emotional connection as it is about physical exploration.

Fifty Shades Darker (2017)

Ana Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) attempt to build a relationship on trust and compromise after breaking up due to Christian’s controlling tendencies. Their renewed romance faces external threats including Christian’s mysterious past and a former submissive seeking revenge. Ana must navigate darker secrets and emotional turmoil while trying to keep their love alive against growing dangers.

Fifty Shades Freed (2018)

Ana (Dakota Johnson) and Christian (Jamie Dornan) are newlyweds but their bliss is threatened by secrets from Christian’s past and a hostile adversary targeting their lives. Facing both domestic challenges and external threats, their marriage is tested in ways that reveal deeper layers of love, forgiveness, and strength. The trilogy’s conclusion blends steamy romance with suspense and emotional resolution.

Beverly Hills Cop Franchise Coming To Netflix!

Starting October 1, Netflix is bringing all four Beverly Hills Cop movies together for the first time, offering viewers a rare chance to explore every era of Axel Foley’s (Eddie Murphy) adventures in one streaming destination. From the original film’s blend of action, comedy, and culture-clash storytelling, through thrilling sequels and Axel’s modern comeback, the franchise’s arrival allows fans to rediscover Eddie Murphy’s iconic role and enjoy decades of high-energy, crowd-pleasing stories.

Beverly Hills Cop (1984)

Street-smart Detroit detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) travels to affluent Beverly Hills after the murder of his childhood friend Mikey Tandino (James Russo). Out of his element but undeterred, Foley investigates Mikey’s connection to a suspicious art dealer, Victor Maitland (Steven Berkoff). With persistent wit and improvisational charm, Foley clashes with the local police—especially straight-laced officers Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton)—as he uncovers a complex ring of drug smuggling and corruption. Amid action-packed confrontations and comedic antics, Foley’s relentless pursuit of justice leads to a dramatic showdown, cementing him as an unconventional but brilliant cop.

Beverly Hills Cop II (1987)

When prominent Beverly Hills police lieutenant Andrew Bogomil (Ronny Cox) is shot during a string of bizarre robberies known as the “Alphabet Crimes,” Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) returns to California to help his old friends, Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and Taggart (John Ashton). The trio’s investigation leads them to a ruthless arms dealer, Maxwell Dent, and his cunning henchwoman, Karla Fry. Balancing comedic banter with escalating danger, Axel employs his signature unconventional methods to unravel the criminal operation, exposing a high-stakes conspiracy and saving the day with energetic action and resourcefulness.

Beverly Hills Cop III (1994)

Axel Foley’s (Eddie Murphy) quest continues when his boss is murdered while investigating links to a Southern California amusement park, Wonder World. Foley teams up once more with Rosewood (Judge Reinhold), now promoted within the police force, to infiltrate the park and uncover its dark secrets. Facing elaborate cover-ups and deadly adversaries hiding behind family-friendly facades, Axel must rely on his trademark humor and street smarts to crack the case and bring justice to those responsible.

Beverly Hills Cop Axel F (2025)

Decades after his first Beverly Hills adventure, Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) finds himself drawn back to California when a new threat jeopardizes both old allies and the city itself. Surrounded by fresh faces and reuniting with familiar partners, Foley’s investigation exposes a new wave of crime that challenges modern law enforcement with high-tech schemes and local corruption. Balancing nostalgia with contemporary urgency, Axel’s trademark style and relentless determination make for an electrifying return, bridging the legacy of past cases with present-day excitement

New on Netflix & Prime Video this coming week September 28 – October 4, 2025

When I started this weekly Netflix & Prime Post at the beginning of the year, Netflix and Prime were both consistently adding movies on a weekly basis.

That was manageable on a weekly basis as far as putting the movie list together with the posters and info that I have in the past.

Somewhere over the summer that changed and it became more of a monthly addition, most notably with Prime at first, followed by Netflix.

Now, at the first of the month, the workload to chase down the list of movies being added and turn it into movie posters, descriptions, ratings and date released has become increasingly overwhelming.

This month is the straw that broke the Streaming Movie Night Editor’s back! Literally there are almost 200 movies added on the 1st of October between Netflix & Prime…….

So for now, until I can figure out a better system for turning the list into the media and info that I have in the past, I am going to be posting just the list.

So with that being said, here are the movies being added to Netflix and Prime this week September 28 – October 4, 2025:
