Paramount Pictures has officially set the theatrical release date for A Quiet Place Part III as July 30, 2027. The film was originally slated for 2025 but was delayed to avoid a box office clash with Superman: Man of Tomorrow and to accommodate the 2024 spin-off A Quiet Place: Day One.
As of April 2026, the project is in deep pre-production, with principal photography expected to begin in New York this spring. John Krasinski returns to write, direct and produce this third main installment, which he has stated is intended to complete a trilogy for the Abbott family.
Paramount Pictures and John Krasinski have also unveiled the Official Cast:
- Returning: Emily Blunt (Evelyn Abbott), Cillian Murphy (Emmett), Millicent Simmonds (Regan), and Noah Jupe (Marcus).
- New Additions: Jack O’Connell (Sinners), Jason Clarke (Oppenheimer), and Katy O’Brian (Love Lies Bleeding) have joined the cast in undisclosed roles.
While official plot details remain strictly under wraps, several key details have emerged:
- The story will reportedly pick up after the cliffhanger ending of Part II, following the Abbott family and Emmett as they navigate the aftermath of the island escape.
- Speculation that this is the final chapter grew after Krasinski paired his casting announcement with the song “One Last Time” from Hamilton.

John Krasinski posted this photo on his Instagram account and yesterday there were reports of filming taking place in New York City. Onlookers captured footage of large-scale action sequences involving crowds of extras fleeing through the streets of lower Manhattan.
