Adria Arjona goes to war with UFC Legend Alex Pereira in a wild neon-drenched action-horror mashup.
A24 has officially pulled back the curtain on Onslaught, and it promises to be one of the most violent, genre-bending cinematic rides of 2026. Directed by Adam Wingard, the mastermind behind The Guest and You’re Next, the first trailer showcases a relentless “gonzo action-horror” style that will leave genre fans breathless before its September 4, 2026 theatrical release.
The plot kicks off when a rogue squad of genetically modified super-soldiers escapes a covert military lab, invading a remote desert trailer park community.
Adria Arjona stars as a fierce former Army sniper who must unleash absolute hell to protect her young daughter from a terrifying, seemingly unkillable giant known as “The Butcher”—played by real-life UFC Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira in his major acting debut.
Packed with heavy practical gore, synth-wave aesthetics, and a stellar supporting cast including Dan Stevens and Rebecca Hall, Onslaught looks like an instant cult classic.
