Apple Releases Cast Interview, Film Clips For Mayday Debut!

Apple Original Films releases Cast Interview and Film Clips for their Buddy-Comedy Mayday debut today!

Apple Original Films has released an exclusive cast interview featurette and four new film clips for Mayday, showcasing a brilliantly funny look inside the star-studded press launch of the holiday weekend blockbuster.

The action-comedy tracks a hotshot U.S. Navy pilot (Ryan Reynolds) and an eccentric former KGB agent (Kenneth Branagh) staging a chaotic cross-country escape behind enemy lines in 1987.

Discovered by Nikolai Ustinov (Branagh), a gruff ex-KGB agent with a penchant for American culture, Troy thinks he’s toast – but could an unlikely alliance between the two lead to Troy’s rescue, and a bond neither saw coming?

In the new 4K interview, the leads detail the absolute blast they had collaborating on set, highlighting the freedom they were given to inject sharp, unscripted banter right into the film’s biggest physical stunt sequences.

The four Film Clips Tracking Evasion, Tied To The Bed, Hiding In Closet and Should Have Waited give us a glimpse into the hilarious action packed comedy debuting today on Apple TV.

An Apple Original Film hailing from Skydance Media, “Mayday” is co-directed, written and produced by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. Produced by Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger, and Maximum Effort’s Ashley Fox and Johnny Pariseau. Executive producers are Maximum Effort’s Ryan Reynolds and George Dewey, alongside John G. Scotti.
