If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This Friday, the truth belongs to Peacock subscribers. We are coming close to… Disclosure Day.
After earning $241 million at the box office, and spending 11 weeks on PVOD, Universal Pictures is bringing Disclosure Day to Peacock Friday October 9, 2026.
Based on a story by Spielberg, The sci-fi mystery thriller follows Daniel Kellner (Josh O’Connor), a brilliant cybersecurity expert turned whistleblower who steals classified data from Wardex, a powerful para-governmental corporation led by the ruthless Noah Scanlon (Colin Firth).
The leaked files expose a massive, decades-long global conspiracy to cover up the existence of extraterrestrial life. Now a target on the run, Daniel’s path collides with Margaret Fairchild (Emily Blunt), a Midwest television meteorologist who begins experiencing bizarre phenomena and exhibiting unexplainable, latent abilities tied to a forgotten childhood event.
Pursued by corporate operatives determined to silence them, the duo aligns with an underground network of defectors led by Hugo Wakefield (Colman Domingo). Together, they embark on a high-stakes, race-against-time mission to broadcast the undeniable truth to seven billion people and trigger the ultimate “Disclosure Day.”
Disclosure Day is rated PG-13, is 2 hrs 25min long and debuts on Peacock Friday October 9, 2026!
