Disney’s New Animated Movie ‘Hexed’ is a Mother-Daughter Witch Adventure!

Disney is gearing up for its next big animated holiday movie, Hexed, and it looks like a magical ride. The movie is hitting theaters just in time for Thanksgiving on Wednesday, November 25, 2026. It features a cool, colorful art style that looks like a classic hand-drawn painting brought into modern 3D animation.

The movie takes place in a normal suburban neighborhood and follows Billie Doe (voiced by Hailee Steinfeld), a wild 15-year-old girl who doesn’t quite fit in.

Everything changes when Billie accidentally takes off a mysterious family bracelet she was always told to wear. The second she removes it, her hidden magical powers burst out and drag her into Hexe, a giant, chaotic hidden world full of witches and magic.

To survive and find her way home, Billie has to team up with her incredibly cautious, strictly organized mom, Alice (voiced by Rashida Jones). The mother-daughter duo have to work through their differences to unlock deep family secrets and save the magical world.

The world of Hexe is packed with fun characters voiced by some major Hollywood stars:

Jodie Foster voices the villain, Queen Celeste, a ruthless ruler who wants to steal Billie’s power.
Walton Goggins voices Beef Roger Crummchuk, a goofy, eccentric three-eyed magical cat who helps the duo.
Tracey Ullman voices a talking, enchanted feather pen.
Stephen Fry voices a living, magical journal book.

Animation fans are in for a double treat on opening weekend. Disney confirmed that when you see Hexed in theaters, it will play alongside a brand-new animated short film called Lilo & Scratch, a fun new spin-off story set in the beloved Lilo & Stitch universe!

Hexed bewitches theaters November 25, 2026!
