I Play Rocky (2026) – First Look!

Anthony Ippolito stars as a young Sylvester Stallone in the first trailer for I Play Rocky, hitting theaters on November 6, 2026!

Amazon MGM Studios just released the electrifying first trailer, which chronicles the ultimate real-life underdog story behind the making of the 1976 classic Rocky. Directed by Academy Award winner Peter Farrelly (Green Book), the film tracks a broke, unknown Stallone as he writes the iconic script and fiercely refuses massive cash studio offers unless he is allowed to play the lead role.

The incredible ensemble cast features Matt Dillon as Stallone’s father, AnnaSophia Robb as his first wife Sasha, Tracy Letts as a skeptical studio executive, and Stephan James as a spot-on Carl Weathers.
