Paramount Pictures is bringing the ultimate era of “guys being dudes” to a definitive, chaotic close this Friday, June 26, 2026. Led by franchise shepherd and director Jeff Tremaine, Jackass: Best and Last is a 92-minute hybrid theatrical event. It functions as a brand-new stunt movie mixed with a giant, nostalgic retrospective, celebrating a quarter-century of the world’s most beloved idiots.
While the franchise has threatened retirement in the past, this really is the end of the line for the original crew. The format mixes a massive library of their most iconic “greatest hits” and biggest historical laughs with an entirely new slate of dangerous, stomach-churning stunts filmed specifically to close out the series.
The modern footage leans heavily into the crew’s aging bodies and the bittersweet reality of saying goodbye. The film’s emotional backbone centers on the very first day of production, opening with Johnny Knoxville asking the crew how they feel about the end. The answer? A collective, heartbreaking “I’m sad”—before immediately transitioning into a painful bit involving the world’s first automated “robot prostate exam”.
