Warner Bros. has officially confirmed that David Lowery‘s avant-garde psychological music drama Mother Mary will stream exclusively on HBO Max starting Friday August 21, 2026.
The film follows a global pop superstar (Anne Hathaway) attempting to reclaim her artistic legacy following a career-altering staging incident.
The tension reaches a boiling point when she reconnects with her former creative confidante (Michaela Coel), triggering a volatile chamber piece filled with artistic ego, deep-seated resentment, and raw emotional reckoning.
