Jason Statham’s Maritime Action Thriller ‘Mutiny’ Hits Theaters and IMAX This Friday!
Lionsgate releases its high-stakes action vehicle Mutiny starring Jason Statham in North American theaters starting this Friday August 21, 2026.
In Mutiny, Cole Reed (Jason Statham) boards a cargo ship on a one-man crusade to avenge his boss’ death only to discover an international conspiracy.
The newly released production notes highlight the film’s reliance on practical stunt work—capturing Statham executing close-quarters martial arts and precision boat chase sequences right through London’s Thames River without relying on heavy green-screen tracking arrays.
