Sacha Baron Cohen Revives Infamous Alter-Ego for Secret Sequel ‘Ali G: Who Iz I?’ This Friday
Earning a hard R rating for its crude language, wild pranks, and offensive humor, this highly anticipated mockumentary marks Sacha Baron Cohen’s official feature-film directorial debut!
Filmed entirely in secret, the movie marks the first time the iconic British “rude boy” character has hit the big screen in 24 years. However, moviegoers need to act fast: Amazon MGM has scaled back the release to a one-weekend-only special theatrical engagement before it moves directly to Prime Video!
After twenty years spent “chillin’, tokin’ and bonin’” in the UK, the West Staines Massiv leader is forced out of early retirement. Ali G discovers that his long-term girlfriend, Julie (played by Morgana Robinson), is eight months pregnant.
Faced with the reality of an extra mouth to feed and no income, Ali gets off his batty and heads straight across the Atlantic to America to reclaim his former media glory and secure a payday.
Ali G: Who Iz I? comes to theaters next weekend starting October 23, 2026 for ONE WEEKEND ONLY! After that Ali G will head straight to Prime Video for subscribers, and Rental on Premium Video On Demand (PVOD) for non Prime subscribers.
