Global Streaming Update: How to Watch Liam Neeson’s ‘The Mongoose’ Right Now
Action fans around the globe are scratching their heads over the release of Liam Neeson’s high-octane thriller The Mongoose (2026). Depending on where you are reading this from right now, your options to watch it are completely different due to a split international distribution deal.
Here is exactly how to catch the cross-country action in your territory:
Inside the United States: Exclusive to Theaters
If you are based in the U.S., The Mongoose is currently playing exclusively in theaters. Having just debuted on October 30, it is not yet available on PVOD (digital rental/purchase platforms like Apple or Vudu) or domestic streaming. We expect a premium digital drop in the coming weeks, so keep checking with us for updates!
International Audiences: Now Streaming on Prime Video
If you are one of our many readers outside the United States—including Canada, the UK, Australia, and Europe—you can skip the theater entirely! Amazon MGM Studios secured the international distribution rights for the film, and it officially dropped directly onto Amazon Prime Video as a free streaming title on November 4.
Captain Ryan “Fang” Flanagan (Liam Neeson) is a highly decorated Afghan war hero who suddenly finds his good name completely ruined.
Falsely accused and framed for a brutal murder involving his ex-wife’s abusive current partner, Fang realizes he has absolutely nothing left to lose and grabs a flashy, high-powered, red Mustang Shelby Super Snake GT350 muscle car and takes off at 130 mph.
What follows is a giant, televised, cross-country police pursuit. To stay a step ahead of a determined lead lawman (Michael Chiklis), Fang gets tactical help from his old Special Forces army buddies who track the chase from afar. As the chase goes viral on the news, the public starts to realize he was framed and begins openly rooting for him to escape!
The movie features a fantastic group of familiar faces alongside Neeson:
- Marisa Tomei plays his ex-wife, Tara, who gets caught in the legal crossfire.
- Ving Rhames plays “Tanker,” Fang’s loyal old special forces war buddy.
- Michael Chiklis plays Pope, the intense law enforcement officer leading the pursuit.
