One wrong turn, one long night!
The Gates follows three college friends—Derek, Kevin, and Tyon—on a road trip gone wrong. Seeking a shortcut, the trio drives through a remote, wealthy gated community where they accidentally witness a horrific murder perpetrated by a cunning local patriarch, the murderous Pastor Jacob.
Trapped inside the community for the night, the tables quickly turn as the insular neighborhood residents automatically blame the three young Black men for the crime. As Pastor Jacob actively hunts them down, the three friends must fight for survival while navigating external prejudice and internal fractures caused by their own differing belief systems.
