Star-Studded Psychological Thriller ‘Unabomber’ debuts exclusively on Netflix This Friday!
Inspired by true events, the film crosscuts between two distinct timelines to examine the tragic and chilling transformation of one of America’s most notorious domestic terrorists.
Standout young actor Jacob Tremblay (Room, Wonder) stars as a 16-year-old Ted Kaczynski. Entering Harvard University as a teenage mathematical genius, Kaczynski’s mind is fractured after being subjected to controversial, brutal psychological experiments overseen by his professor, Dr. Henry Murray (played by Academy Award winner Russell Crowe).
Decades later, Kaczynski’s past resurfaces as he wages a deadly, anonymous mail-bombing campaign from a remote cabin in Montana.
The second timeline tracks the massive, historic FBI investigation led by determined profile analyst Joanne Miller (played by Golden Globe nominee Shailene Woodley), whose pursuit slowly uncovers the dark psychological trauma that shaped his campaign.
Produced by 2.0 Entertainment and MRC Film, the gripping crime drama is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Janus Metz Pedersen (Borg vs. McEnroe, Andor) and penned by screenwriting duo Sam Chalsen and Nelson Greaves.
