Brad Pitt’s Brutal Survival Thriller ‘Heart of the Beast’ Hits Theaters This Friday!
The wait is officially over for one of the fall’s most anticipated action dramas. Paramount Pictures’ Heart of the Beast (2026) is set to storm theaters and premium large formats nationwide this Friday, September 25, 2026.
Reuniting megastar Brad Pitt with acclaimed director David Ayer for the first time since their gritty 2014 war drama Fury, the film strips away Hollywood glitz to deliver an intense, grounded, and primal battle against mother nature.
Brad Pitt stars as James Belmont, a retired Army Special Forces officer who is struggling to adjust back to civilian life while haunted by severe PTSD from his time at war. His only anchor is Odin, his retired combat scouting dog who still carries the physical scars of battle (including silver in his teeth from a concrete brick attack).
While flying through a remote mountainside terrain, a catastrophic plane crash leaves Belmont stranded fifty miles from civilization deep in the freezing Alaskan wilderness. Badly injured and equipped with nothing but a survival knife, a compass, and a lighter, his only lifeline is his retired military dog, Odin.
Heart of the Beast is rated PG-13, runs 1 hr 41 minutes and officially opens in theaters everywhere Friday, September 25, 2026.
