Minions & Monsters Debuts On Peacock!

The Yellow Underlings Conquer Old Hollywood and Unleash Total Mayhem on Peacock!

Setting itself roughly 40 years before the original Minions film, the narrative takes us backward in time to the vibrant, experimental Golden Age of 1920s Old Hollywood.

The story introduces James (voiced by Pierre Coffin), an extraordinarily imaginative, movie-obsessed Minion who dreams of conquering the silver screen. Alongside his loyal, overalls-wearing buddies Henry and Ed, the trio lands work at a fledgling movie studio.

However, after getting unceremoniously fired by an eccentric, larger-than-life European auteur director named Max, the Minions stubbornly decide to independently finance and script their very own monster movie.

The production goes hilariously off the rails when the clumsy film crew uses a stolen spellbook to research creature designs, accidentally summoning actual, terrifyingly massive monsters straight into the studio backlots!

Suddenly forced to save the planet from a catastrophic mess of their own making, the Minions must band together to capture the beasts—while keeping the cameras rolling to finish their masterpiece.

• Pierre Coffin pulling double-duty as the solo director and the iconic, babbling voice of the Minion tribe.
• George Lucas in a shocking, top-secret voice role! The Star Wars mastermind—who is an avid real-life fan of the franchise—agreed to make his first on-screen acting appearance in over two decades.
• An Animated Orson Welles is confirmed to appear as a legendary historical cameo.
• The Elite Voice Roster: The film features a powerhouse character cast including Jeff Bridges, Allison Janney, Christoph Waltz, Jesse Eisenberg, Zoey Deutch, Bobby Moynihan, Phil LaMarr, and South Park co-creator Trey Parker.

Minions & Monsters debuts on Peacock Wednesday, October 27, 2026!
