Synopsis
Following their decision to hit the road for a van life adventure, Tyler and Maddie witness a fatal vehicular crash. Believing they are merely innocent bystanders, they drive away—only to realize a supernatural entity has latched onto their vehicle. Marked by mysterious claw scratches that match the wrecked car at the accident, the couple soon discovers they are being hunted by a relentless, unshakeable entity called “The Passenger” that will not stop until it claims them both.

The production crew of Passenger reportedly faced an intensely eerie atmosphere while filming on location in the remote backwoods of Washington State. The cast and crew were shooting directly next to the infamous, real-life historical hunting grounds of the Green River Killer. According to a newly released marketing featurette by Paramount, the atmosphere was so unsettling that certain crew members felt constantly followed by an unseen presence. The experiences grew so intensely unnerving that individuals involved with the film actually requested a priest to come out and formally bless the production.
